SUMMARY:
Our client in the automotive sector is looking for a Service Manager to manage all service advisors and the day-to-day operations of a workshopLocation: SandtonPOSITION INFO:
Key requirement

  • Post secondary education in a related field (automotive technology, business administration)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a dealership environment with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance principles
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team work
Key responsibility
  • Manage the daily operations of the workshop, including scheduling, workload management and resource allocation
  • Supervise and mentor advisors to ensure excellent customer service and accurate repair estimates
  • Oversee the work of technicians, ensuring that repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Communicate with customers to provide repair updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that repairs meet manufacturer standards and customer expectation
