Service Performance Manager
Full-Time
Services Performance Manager will oversee technology services and staff in South Africa and Kenya, ensuring the integration and adaptation of central technology systems and processes at divisional and branch levels. This role involves managing changes and projects, developing and assessing solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions. The manager will also ensure successful Value Stream and Project Deliveries, manage the local technology budget, and oversee the work of Field Service Engineers to ensure timely delivery and maintenance of End User Services and infrastructure.
The Service Performance Manager will be reporting to the Service Performance Lead. This post is based in Goodwood.
Principal accountabilities
Ensure all central processes are embedded with both South Africa and Kenya.
Key point of contact between all global technology teams and the local businesses.
Manage the Enterprise Technology Specialist to ensure System Changes, Projects and Support are being managed effectively and reported back to all stakeholders.
Work with global technology teams to prioritise and deliver changes. Develop requirements with business, assess solutions, and document changes.
Manage triage and escalation process for issue, development and requests, working with Global Tech teams.
Ensure Local Budgets are effectively managed forecasts updated and agreed in a timely manner and that cost saving targets are met or exceeded.
Work with the business to identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, to improve business effectiveness, and user experience, working towards aligning systems across OUP.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience in the delivery of all IT Services needed to run business, including Infrastructure, End User Services & Enterprise Applications
Minimum of
5 years
of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of success
Strong understanding of networking, server infrastructure, cloud technologies, and IT security
IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or vendor-specific certifications) advantageous
Leading cross-functional teams in a global environment with multiple executive stakeholders
Strategy planning, enterprise portfolio development and management
Shaping, advising on, and realizing benefits of global transformation programmes
A proven ability to deliver business benefits through projects/ programmes and a strong track record of embedding change in an effective manner
Experienced delivery, tracking and reporting to senior executives' complex delivery portfolio
