Job Description

Responsible for equipment design, construction, and installation, along with troubleshooting machine breakdowns and performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Engage with various production and process equipment, collaborate with fellow engineers and maintain communication with clients and suppliers, with occasional travel requirements.

Skills & Experience:
Maintenance experience in FMCG/Food/Packaging or related industry
Fault-finding and diagnosing breakdown problems
Repair and installation of equipment on-site and off-site
Quality inspections and liaison with clients and suppliers
Creative problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in hardware and software
Leadership qualities and ability to work independently
Good communication skills for customer interaction and training
Relevant experience in sales and service of food processing equipment
Mechanical and pneumatic repair skills
Ability to submit timely and accurate service reports and other paperwork
Electro-mechanical aptitude
Computer literacy
Proficiency in test equipment and hand tools usage
Proficiency in English, Afrikaans advantageous.

Qualifications:
National Diploma or BTech in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Consideration given to N4-N6 qualifications
