Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Office to join our team! Our offices is based in Blackheath, Rustdal, Cape Town.
Must have own vehicle.
Qualifications / Experience:
Matric certificate?
SACPCMP registration not negotiable (Candidate accepted with mentorship agreement)
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Health and Safety Officer?
Excellent attention to detail?
Excellent organizational skills?
Excellent time management skills?
Good problem-solving skills?
Ability to work fast and efficiently?
Duties:
Must have knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations ?
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the workplace?
Foster a Health and Safety culture?
Monitor work processes and procedure to identify unsafe practices and provide recommendations ?
Conduct audits and inspections ?
Investigate accidents and incidents?
Train employees on health and safety ?
Review and approve sub-contractor health and safety files?
Submit monthly reports / statistics
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Market related, will be discussed at interview incl. Benefits
