Description:
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Officer to join their mining team based in North-West. The SHE Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and promote a safe and sustainable work environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Provide safety training and educational programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance with safety procedures
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures
• Monitor and analyze safety, health, and environmental data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations and best practices
• Serve as the primary contact for government agencies, auditors, and other regulatory bodies regarding safety, health, and environmental compliance
• Coordinate and participate in safety committee meetings and activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Management
• Certificates in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or equivalent qualification
• HIRA Certificate
• SAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent
• Experience/Exposure on MS Dynamics F&O, Reporting tools: MS Power BI

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience with SHE
• Valid Drivers License
