• Maintenance and Service of PitViper 271
• Ensure that all equipment are kept and maintained in safe and operational condition.
• Load equipment on Truck / LDV
• Driving Truck / LDV with equipment / parts to the machine.
• Replace redundant equipment as and when required in the prescribed manner and Install new Rods.
• Ensure that there are Machine Inspections and Time Studies on Machines
• Pull down Test, if more technical background.
• Comply fully, at all times with Contractors Pack for Site.
• Perform all duties as specified
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Keep accurate records on meters drilled and stock movement
• Report any problems to Contract manager timorously
• Practice and adhere to Mine drug and alcohol free policy

Skills, Competence and Experience:

• Must have Drivers License Code 14 with PDP
• Good understanding of the Drill and Blast Hole industry in Opencast Mines
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be medically fit for the mine.
• Knowledge with drill rig maintenance.

Educational Qualification:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• GET Certificate
