Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Shift Foreman to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. The Shift Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers in a specific shift, ensuring safety, productivity, and adherence to company standards.Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team on assigned shifts.
- Train and develop team members.
- Resolve conflicts and handle grievances.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure production targets are met.
- Coordinate with other departments for workflow efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize resource usage.
- Enforce health and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Report and investigate safety incidents.
- Grade 12
- N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies
- Trade Test Certificate (Boilermaker or Fitter)
- 5 years' experience in the mining industry.
- 2 years' experience in a supervisory role.
- Valid driver's license
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
