Job Summary Qualification
- Matric
- Tertiary qualification in production or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience as Production Shift Manager within the beverage or FMCG manufacturing industries
- Committee Member for Food Safety Team
- Full understanding of Quality Standards, and Health and Safety Regulations
- Experience in managing overall production efficiency levels
- Responsible for all subordinates and managing a team
- Resource management for entire factory.
- Production planning.
- Transfer note of stock to customer.
- Delegation of responsibilities to managers.
- Periodic inspections of finished product against company standard requirements.
- Ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ensure that legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
- Production reports.
- Key Performance Indicators.
- Stock take of all materials.
- Ensure machinery are maintained and in good working order.
- Manage pest control.
- Manage waste control.
- Periodic inspections of machinery.
- Ensure utilities are maintained.
- Oversee that change over are done effectively and on a timeous manner.
- Ensure that the factory is free of safety violations and that the work place is safe.
- Attend management meetings.
