• The suitable candidate must have a Gr.12-certificate and Millers qualification (Grain Milling Federation Certificate: Theory & Practice);and / or City and Guilds of London Advanced Wheat Milling.
• The suitable candidate must have 3 years' experience with 2 years as an Apprentice Miller.
• The suitable candidate must have a valid driver's license and own transport.
• The suitable candidate must understand laboratory work and be able to do tests and analysis, recording of mill data.
• The suitable candidate must be willing and able to work shifts and act as a relief Miller if required.
• Wheat Grading Certificate and Fumigation Certificate will be advantageous
• The suitable candidate will be preferably required to reside near the location of the Mill Site, i.e. Richie and surroundings

• Management of mill (quality, extractions, Milling gains, housekeeping, admin etc.);
• Ensure mill operate within agreed quality and extractions;
• Monitor execution of milling process, by managing downtime, control and optimize people, mill, machinery and equipment; OEE;s
• Miller's maintenance of the mill's machinery and equipment;
• Ensure input Quality - Responsible for Raw material, production and mix back;
• Form part of the food safety management team and safety team, to ensure safety, health, hygiene and pest management;
• Provide support to the production manager, to implement the production plan in order to achieve the set targets;
• Work with and manage people in a production environment and ensure that work instructions are carried out.
