With a growing focus on industrial water filtration, especially in the mining industry, we are a team with a growth mindset and a passion for customer service excellence.Job SpecificationReporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to supervise and control shift production within one unit of a manufacturing operation. Ensures safe working conditions and that technical investigations on effectiveness are carried out. Ensures inventory levels are maintained within specific limits. Responsible for performing varied tasks relating to the manufacturing function where some initiative and basic training is required. Decisions based on past experience.Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• 2 years related experience within a supervisory capacity
• N3 Engineering Certificate (Mechanical or Electrical)
• a PFSA Setters Certificate would be beneficial

Key Performance indicators include:

• Supervise and control shift staff
• Maintain the manufacturing operation with relation to machines, materials and quality (OEE)
• Ensure that shift maintains output according to the production plan
• Ensure that all process and quality controls are done
• Maintain good communication with all departments (Management, Maintenance, QC and Admin)
• All reports must be done on time, neatly and accurately
• Ensure safe working conditions are maintained
• Ensure factory hygiene, housekeeping and safety practices are adhered to by all in the department, at all times
