Shift Supervisor
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage full logistics and warehousing function of the Durban Branch.Responsibilities:Supervise 6 to 10 warehouse staff per shift.You will be required to discipline, motivate, communicate; train and develop staff to optimise their performance.Ensuring that deliveries are correct and on time; ensure that problems are resolved efficiently and customer needs, such as COA process, are met.Damaged or expired stock is controlled, ensure that all results are accurately recorded, and that administration is up to date.You will be required to manage warehouse rotation, conducting cycle counts and investigating stock count results.Housekeeping and hygiene requirements are met: clean, tidy perimeter and neat display racks.Skills:Problem solving.Performance and staff management.Stock control.Computer literacy.Health and Safety.Customer Services.Warehouse Administration.Supervisory Skills.Discipline and time management.Organising and planning.Organising and planning.Qualifications:Matric.Relevant qualification would be preferable.3 years experience in a similar role in FMCG.Drivers license.Robust understanding of the warehousing.
