Shift Supervisor Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape R25 000 to R29 000 CTCWe are seeking two qualified Shift Supervisor. One in the Plate Making Section and one in the Assembly Section for our Port Elizabeth Factory. The role involves overseeing plant operations and resources, including production and maintenance, to ensure production targets and product quality standards are met safely and efficiently.Minimum Requirements:Matric (Grade 12)Certificate in a technical discipline or production-related field (NQF 5)Diploma in a technical discipline or production-related field (NQF 6) advantageousTrade Test (NQF 5) advantageousCertificate in First Line Management (FLMP) (NQF 5) advantageousCCS Supervisory Development Programme advantageousUp to 5 years' experience in production/maintenance operations in manufacturing, with 1-2 years in a supervisory roleComputer literacy (MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP)Strong knowledge of production and maintenance practicesUnderstanding of manufacturing regulations and complianceExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Proactive, action-oriented, and problem-solving mindsetStrong supervisory and customer-focused skillsKey Responsibilities:Ensure production targets are achieved through optimal resource utilizationMaintain production efficiency and quality standards according to schedulesCoordinate maintenance activities to prevent downtime and optimize processesEnsure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulationsFoster effective customer relationships and represent the company in meetingsIf you meet the qualifications and skills outlined above and are interested in joining in applying for this position, then please submit your detailed CV, with a Cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications, and valid driver's license to LaurielleJobs@wcp.co.za
