Job Summary Position: Shiftboss - Mining
Location: North West, South AfricaJob Summary:
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking an experienced and capable Shiftboss to oversee mining operations at their Platinum Mine in Limpopo. The Shiftboss will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities on the designated shift to ensure safe and efficient production. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all mining activities on the designated shift
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Inspect work areas for potential hazards and take corrective action as needed
- Monitor production levels and make adjustments to optimize efficiency
- Train and mentor junior staff members
- Keep accurate records of production, equipment usage, and personnel attendance
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessionsQualifications:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Shiftboss certificate of competency
- Blasting Certificate for Metalliferous Mines
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a mining environment
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the mining industry
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesBenefits:
