Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role essential
Experience in the following Logistic Sectors are beneficial (SEAFREIGHT, AIRFREIGHT, MULTIMODAL, COURIER, CROSS TRADE SHIPMENTS)
DUTIES
Finance:
Coordinating with Finance department to expedite payments to factories
Preparation of cost management reports (cash flows, cost estimates and post project costing comparisons).
Arrange and consult with the Finance department to prepare final invoices to client
Production:
Assisting the project manager to monitor production schedules.
Request status updates on production.
Quality Inspection Requirements:
Generate product and pallet packaging forms.
Compile a detailed inspection parameter with Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) levels for inspection.
Assist the project manager with analysis of online quality reports.
Check electronic test reports from the independent quality inspectorates
Shipping Of Cargo To Destination:
Preparing export/import documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and the independent quality inspectorate inspection certificate).
Confirm bookings with forwarders at origin and destination countries and arrange marine insurance.
Handover of export/import documentation to Forwarder.
Monitor shipments from origin to nominated warehouse/delivery address at destination.
Information Systems:
Uploading of all applicable files onto the Company extranet and FTP sites.
Assist with the Maintenance of your client specific extranet information and update process flows where necessary.
Create various templates for company processes.
Check packing configuration and loading.
Salary: R dependent on experience
