Job Description
This pivotal role requires an individual with extensive experience in customs regulations, strong administrative capabilities, and a deep understanding of shipping procedures.The ideal candidate must be able to excel when working independently and possess the ability to effectively communicate with international stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate shipping logistics operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
- Facilitate the efficient movement of goods, overseeing the entire shipping process from order placement to delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to shipments, ensuring completeness and compliance.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment of logistics activities.
- Utilise ERP systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports as required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the shipping and logistics industry.
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
