They are our greatest asset.Join us and let's grow together.We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Witbank, Mpumalanga area.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day stockyard and logistics activities as well as to ensure timeous submission of rail intents and loading of trains in accordance with the TFR standard conditions of carriage.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the trains are loaded according to the plan - correctly and timeously.
- Coordinate the day to day scheduling and blending activities to control quality and meet the required specifications.
- Conducting daily coal inspections, ensuring procedures are adhered to and area of responsibility is well maintained.
- Ensuring subordinates are equipped and knowledgeable about train and loading procedures.
- Maintain production statistics and manage documentations of stockpile reconciliations.
- Adhering to Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Grade 12.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Train Operations)
- Driver's license Code EB (08).
- 3 Years experience in the mining environment.
- Experience in stockpile management and train loading.
- Knowledge of train operation safety management systems and their standard operating procedures.
- Transnet experience will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Transnet documentation and basic Stock and material keeping will be advantageous.
- SAP experience will be advantageous.
- MS Office Proficiency.
- Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions and limit risk of non-compliance to the business.
- Ability to create shared meaning by clearly and confidently communicating the relevant information to a decision or task, in a verbal format.
- Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause while considering urgency, importance, risk and reward factors.
