Job Description

Duties:

Provide technical assistance and support to simulation users. Ensure that all technical equipment is in working order and linked to the Wifi, as necessary. Setting up all appropriate equipment for the simulation and break down the simulation scenario equipment on completion of the activity. Conduct and plan for ongoing maintenance of all simulation equipment, as necessary. Liaise with the sim co-ordinator and interested faculty members and students to use the sim lab for learning. Prepare and manage equipment for use outside of the simulation laboratory. Participate in simulation training as offered by the sim lab to familiarise with simulation methodology. Assist in standardised patient organisation and training for simulations. Conduct routine inventory and ordering of consumables as required in the lab.

Basic Requirements for the Post:

South African NSC (matric)

Two years' work experience in a technical or simulation teaching environment highly advantageous.

Standard Computer skills.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.
