We are seeking a Site Account Manager - Southern Africa to join our Sales Team.



The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining active long-term relationship with key decision makers at customer site level and continuously promote Metso's value adding offering. As well as create a healthy business with high customer satisfaction with the site accounts.



In this position, you will report to the Vice President Sales & Service Region Southern Africa



This position is mainly located in Centurion, Gauteng



TEAM YOU WILL BELONG TO



You will join the Sales Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such Management, Mining Customers, Engineering and Drawing Office, Complex Proposals Commercial Team, Project Execution Team, Key Account Managers, Business Development Manager, Product Lines and Product Support.



WHAT YOU WILL DO



Responsible to deliver improved customer satisfaction levels by providing process support on customer sites

Support customers with areas of improvement and optimizations on their plants

Responsibility to create the relationship with the key people at the site and share leads with the organization, connecting key interfaces

Walk customer plants and generate leads to take forward

Focuses on after-market business yet be able to identify the investment/capex opportunities and be responsible to convey the customer requirement to capex sales

Plans and has full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site

Seeks and coordinates for best resources and channels to be used for customer facing activities

Understands customer business and is capable to argue Metso's added value

Drives site sales activities together with cross organizational site account team and understands customer's capex and opex related decisions and buying timetable

Drives account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site level budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap and plan)

Maintains and shares information of installed base, performance and shutdown schedules and plan

Orchestrates Customer satisfaction surveys and closed loop activities and ensures continuous improvement activities

Supports Accounts Receivable and payment collections

Active member of the Market Area Key Account/Global Key Account team I/A



WHO YOU ARE



Matric (Grade 12)

Be able to speak English and Mandarin fluently

A Degree/ Diploma, or Artisan qualification in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering will be advantageous

Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a related field

Sales or Account Management skills will be advantageous

Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment

Computer literate in any Customer Relationship Management Tool, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust

Strong communication skills and a serving leader

Travelling into Africa and overseas will be a requirement

Willingness to learn and continually improve own knowledge base

Driven and independent self-starter focused on meeting or exceeding targets set

Ability to manage own time
