:A well-established design and build construction company is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations and ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently.As a Site Manager, you will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for the successful execution of the project, ensuring that site activities align with quality, budget, and timeline expectations.Project Planning & ExecutionDevelop the sequence, methods, resources, and program schedule in consultation with the Contracts Manager.Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying potential issues early and resolving them proactively.Implement project quality plans and cost control procedures to maintain efficiency and profitability.Oversee and monitor subcontractor quality plans, ensuring compliance with project standards.Site Operations & Resource ManagementMaintain survey datum and levels for accurate site execution.Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times.Implement Total Quality Management (T.Q.M.) standards.Manage requisitions for consumables, equipment, and bulk materials in line with project needs.Coordinate material deliveries, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely availability to prevent work stoppages.Assign daily tasks and targets to teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and understand their objectives.Procurement & Cost ControlCall for tenders and quotations for subcontractor and supplier engagements.Place orders for bulk materials, subcontractors, and labor-only contracts in collaboration with the Contracts Manager.Monitor cost sheets, plant costs, and late costs to maintain budget control.Prepare monthly cost reports for performance evaluation.Analyze tender documentation and develop:Buy-out strategiesSite cost plans and allowable budgetsProfit and loss budgetsCash flow projectionsStakeholder & Team ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, Professional Quantity Surveyors (QS), suppliers, and subcontractors.Ensure clear and effective communication with the Professional Team to streamline project execution.Authority & AccountabilityYou will have full authority to execute your responsibilities while adhering to company policies and project requirements. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed within reasonable expectations for the role.
