: Oversees the entire production process in the coffin manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient workflow, high quality standards, and timely delivery of finished coffin products, while managing staff, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Qualifications

Business Management qualification
Carpentry or any similar qualification
Valid Driver's Licence with PDP
Experience Required:
At least
five years'
experience dealing with the following:
Develop detailed production schedules based on customer orders, material availability, and ensuring optimal production flow.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, ensuring adequate stock to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory.
Enforce all safety regulations and procedures within the facility, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Comply with all applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and local safety laws.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards on the job site Implement control measures to minimize risks, work practices, and administrative controls
Lead and manage a team of carpenters, machine operators, and other production personnel, providing training, performance evaluations, and addressing operational issues.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
Collaborate with sales division to help market the business
Build relationships with funeral home businesses in the industry
Monitor and manage production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
Regularly generate reports on production, quality data, and cost analysis to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Position the business favorably amongst key external stakeholders by forging positive relationships, to minimize the likelihood of authorities implementing decisions that impact the business negatively
