Duration: 1 Year Fixed Term ContractLocation: CTO (Flexibility Available)Purpose of the JobTo develop, manage and execute BBBEE Skills Development strategies for Engen by focusing on the legislative reporting and representing Engen on BBBEE Skills Development activities on various industry bodies, forums and management on implementation of Learnerships, Apprenticeships and other industry related programs (CHIETA, SETA, SAPIA, TETA).What You'll Be DoingSkills Programme Development

• Manage the implementation of learnerships, internships, apprenticeships and skills development programs based on business and talent requirements and manage the facilitators, assessors and moderators to ensure that learners gain the skills and experience to successfully complete NQF qualifications

Skills Development Committee Co-Ordination

• Coordinate and manage the Skills Development Committee through upskilling members on the Skills Development Committee on their role to direct the skills development process to ensure consultation on training related matters.

Reporting

• Track and report on CHIETA/TETA related funding by monitoring training spend, reporting on skills development aspects for BBBEE reporting, reporting on progress of learnerships, internships, apprenticeships and skills development programs to ensure efficient business operation and reporting.

BBBEE Skills Development ComplianceEnable and drive BBBEE compliance through ensuring awareness with internal stakeholders on Skills Development requirements ensuring that selected vendors and learning initiatives contribute positively to the BBBEE targets and highlight any potential risks including reporting to relevant forums on progress and plans to achieve agreed targets to ensure that Engen achieves the transformation target.Workplace Skills Plan Management

• Manage planning, implementation & reporting of training for the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and the Annual Training Report (ART) in compliance with legislative requirements
• Serve as an expert resource for the accreditation of Engen as a training provider by advising the stakeholders on the National Skills Development Strategy, the Workplace Skills Plan and the Annual Training Report requirements to ensure the availability of required skills at all times.

BBBEE Skills Development Representation

• Represent Engen as the BBBEE Skills Development Facilitator on Industry Bodies (CHIETA, SAPIA, TETA) by liaising with Government Bodies such as the Department of Labour and managing SAPIA initiatives and CHIETA funding opportunities and programs to ensure that the maximum recoverable grants and levies are achieved from the CHIETA/TETA.

What You'll Have Done BeforeMinimum

• NQF Level 7 (Degree in Human Resources/ Human Resources Development/ Education or related)
• SDF Accreditation
• 8 years experience as BBBEE Skills Development Facilitator
• Extensive experience in Project Management
• Knowledge and understanding of the NQF, SAQA and SDA
• Experience in SD Programmes (Learnerships, Apprenticeships, Internships, Skills Programs, Skills Levies & CHIETA/ TETA functions)
