SKIN CARE THERAPISTDURBAN - KZN, South AfricaSTART: A.S.A.P / Mid-September 2024TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

  • Monday xe2x80x93 Sunday (Shifts rotate)
  • 09:00 - 20:00 (8-hour shift applies)
  • Days off + Annual Leave
REPORT TO: Spa ManagerREMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS
  • R8,000 - R10,000 Basic per month (Based On Experience & Skills)
  • Service Commission (target based)
  • Retail Commission
  • Gratuities & Incentives
  • Excellent earning potential
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits)
  • Matric / O-Level or similar high school senior certificate
  • Confident English vocabulary (Read, Speak & Write) - we deal with international guests
  • CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC
  • DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology (2-year Diploma)
  • Based in Durban
EXPERIENCE: * At least TWHO years post-graduation experience in a high-end salon OR spa (not including work integrated learning / experiential learning)
  • Cruise ship employment highly beneficial
ESSENTIAL SKILLS: * Confident and skilled in all standard SPA, BEAUTY & SKIN CARE services including Advanced facials, Peels & Skin Rejuvenation
  • Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
  • Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly - RETAIL confident
  • Confidently re-book clients where applicable
  • Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision

  • Reflexology

  • LASER Skin Rejuvenation
  • LED Therapy
  • Collagen Induction Therapy / Micro needling / Derma Pen
