Eastern Cape, Port ElizabethMonthly Cost To Company (Market related)Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking to employ a Smart Systems (BMS) Technician based in Port Elizabeth.A wonderful career opportunity awaits you.Requirements:

  • National Diploma - Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics.
  • Two years experience in the field of Controls, PLC and instrumentation.
  • Able to read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams (PID).
  • PLC programming and digital control systems experience.
  • HVAC and building managements systems experience.
  • Valid Code 08 drivers license.
  • Knowledge of electrical control circuits and maintenance management systems.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • Program, repair and calibrate all process instrumentation and controls.
  • Commissioning of controls, instrumentation and building management systems.
  • Attend to callouts and breakdowns.
  • Fault finding on sensors, controls and HVAC equipment.
  • Develop and complete tasks in accordance with the companys SHEQ and ISO system.
  • Provide feedback and updates to clients.
  • Document and report all visits to customer sites as per work performed.
  • Work efficiently and accurately in line with customer expectations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time, this within area of technical competence.
