Closing Date: 07/06/2024Purpose:To drive a culture agenda which will effectively strengthen a winning culture that unlocks the potential of our people.Key Responsibilities:Drive the strengthening of a winning cultureDevelop annual culture strategyManage employee engagement initiativesManage climate surveysManage facilitation of functional & OpCo feedback and action planning sessionsFacilitate Employee Engagements listening sessions for insights and learning's on experienceEmbed DEI AgendaDevelop and embed the Diversity and Inclusion strategy and design supporting D&I programmes & initiativesImplement initiatives that support an inclusive working environment, accelerating education programmes & transformation directivesContinuous barrier analysis and monitoring the effectiveness of an inclusive culture and diverse workforceContinuous research on best practices and recommended strategies for continuous improvement on D&I initiativesProviding expertise and advisory support on various stakeholdersCollaborate with functional MTs on initiatives which impacts Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Succession Planning and proposing solutions to accelerate transformationManage Employment Equity and GovernanceDrive the EE Strategy and programsAlign and drive initiatives in relation to Legislative Frameworks (e.g. Employment Equity Act, BBBEE, Labour Relations Act, Skills Development etc.) as well as relevant legislative requirements across other marketsDrafting, Implementation and monitoring of the EE planPresiding Chair of National EE ForumFacilitation of DOEL & DG inspections & annual submissionsResponsible for statutory and internal reporting analysis and insightsProvide support and expert advice on BBBEE strategy and partner with key stakeholders (Management Control, Employment Equity)Education & Experience:A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or Industrial Psychology or equivalentMinimum 8 years' experience in General Human Resources with a minimum of 5 years of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity experienceAbility to work across a matrix organisation with a Global footprint driving Diversity and Inclusion across various marketsPrevious experience in FMCG industry and/or a Multinational organisation would be advantageousDemonstrated previous experience in designing and driving Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Practices and ProgrammesEstablished experience managing diverse stakeholders including executives, employee groups, vendors and consultantsSound understanding of HR practices and procedures as well as appropriate labour legislation, e.g. BCEA, LRA, EEA, BBBEEThe Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
