-Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Ensure the effective implementation of the Supply Chain strategy within the Physical Supply Chain and materials planning environment Effectively implement the Materials Planning Strategies based upon inputs from multiple stakeholders to meet end-user requirements at optimal inventory levels Ensure the operation and output of reliable planning and suggested inventory models based on detailed inputs from end-users, MRP analysts and forecasting models to inform category decisions across the region. Define standards, procedures and rules for inventory management and new item intake. Define the governance to regulate the fulfilment modes for items on an on-going basis (new and existing items) based in usage patterns, total cost to serve and criticality factors of items. Define and embed appropriate technologies to drive data-based decision making and systems automation Identify and drive the working capital optimization opportunities and manage the working capital optimization opportunities for execution e.g., disposal of excess and obsolete stock. Ensure that master data parameters for new and existing items are updated to the correct standards. Provide strategic input into frontloading, identification and sizing of initiatives relating to working capital benefits Ensure that activities related to inventory optimization events are planned, scheduled, resourced, and executed in a timely and visible manner Implement network optimization opportunities to guide logistics providers in order to reduce transportation frequency which also contributes to the positive impact on the environment Implement working capital optimization opportunities and identify and ensure the execution of cost reduction initiatives that positively impacts cost to serve Support the roll-out of the operating model and cross-site best practice sharing, to leverage tangible working capital benefits Maintain stakeholder integration relationships with key suppliers and internal end-users to enable effective planning

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent in SC Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Postgraduate qualification in SC Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field- Desirable

Experience



Minimum 5 - 7 years relevant experience. Proven track record of practical experience inventory management, supply chain, or logistics roles and context of similar complexity.

Technical knowledge(experience) required for role:



Advance level understanding of end-to-end supply chain management processes, both from a physical and transactional point of view. Sound knowledge of systematic capabilities and systems materials planning,i.e., demand algorithms and statistical models and operation thereof o Experience in implementation of policies, standards, KPIs & procedures across a global multi-divisional corporation. Experience with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for managing inventory data. Proficiency in inventory management software and advanced Excel Proficient skill in data visualization tools like Power BI, or Celonis etc

Knowledge and Skills



Developing skills in business and supplier partnership. Proficient skills in leading change, performance management & reporting Competent skills in SC systems and processes, team management, project management and planning, technical analysis, safety knowledge, business acumen, stakeholder engagement and communication, technical and data analytics, warehouse management, optimization Expert skills in materials and inventory management.
