REQUIRED TO HAVE:

Grade 12 with Maths and Science
Tertiary qualification in IT technical field Candidate should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in ICT, with at least 4 to 7 years in Unix/Linux System administration

Experience in administering enterprise-scale Unix/Linux environments
Must have current Solaris experience (Essential)
Candidate should have in depth experience in hardware, system software, storage, and networking
Advanced shell scripting
Ansible Automation
Red Hat Satellite
Backup and recovery
Vulnerability and Patch Management

ADVANTAGIOUS

ITIL Foundation certified
RHCSA / RHCE or similar qualification in Unix/Linux environment
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study
Experience on multi-vendor net management port configurations, i.e. Solaris, HP ILO, SUN ILOM, Dell iDrac
Red Hat OpenShift enterprise
Cluster environments, i.e. Veritas and Pacemaker
AWS Cloud experience
Working knowledge of BMC Remedy
