Social Media and PR Manager - South AfricaFull job descriptionSocial Media Manager & PR Specialist ManagerLocation: RemoteSalary: R12,000 per monthKey Responsibilities:Social Media Management:Create, schedule, and manage content across various social media platforms including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, and others.Design visually appealing social media graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Canva.Develop and implement marketing plans to drive engagement and brand awareness.Liaise with clients to gather content requirements and secure approvals.Public Relations & Copywriting:Write and distribute press releases, and pitch stories to relevant publications.Enter industry awards, ensuring all submissions meet the necessary criteria.Craft compelling copy for social media posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.Content Creation & Scheduling:Produce and schedule newsletters, ensuring timely distribution to our audience.Manage the production and promotion of our podcast, coordinating with guests and ensuring content is on-brand and engaging.Client Liaison:Communicate effectively with clients to understand their content needs and provide updates on campaigns.Requirements:Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Canva.Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content.Experience in content creation and social media management.Ability to design social media graphics that align with brand guidelines.Experience in public relations, including reaching out to publications and entering awards.Familiarity with scheduling tools for social media and newsletters.Ability to manage and coordinate podcast production.Experience in the franchise industry is a bonus.Reliable high-speed internet connection and a device with graphic specifications capable of handling design software.Additional Requirements:Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Benefits:Fully remote position with flexible working hours.Opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the franchise industry.Competitive salary with opportunities for growth and development.To Apply:Please send your resume, portfolio, and a cover letter explaining why you're the perfect fit for this role to aamena@groeglobal.com with the headline Social Media Manager & PR Specialist Manager .
