The Social Media Design Lead will report to the Jnr Marketing ManagerDuties and responsibilitiesConduct thorough research to effectively manage and maximise the various brands on social media.Create and maintain all relevant social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).Define, implement and review the social media strategy.Define and implement a social media calendar to manage and plan all campaign content and respective timelines.Identify and define relevant, original and high-quality content to be published on the social media platforms.Obtain approval on the social media plan, calendar, and all content before publishing.Engage in dialogue on social media platforms, and monitor and respond to client comments.Keep a 100% response rate on social media platforms.Conduct monthly audits to review and improve social media performance and effectiveness.Provide feedback to management about social media trends and statistics.Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.Managing the redesign of the company website.Improving the usability, design, content, and conversion of the company website.Responsible for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.Generate new ideas to ensure brand and commercial success.Knowledge of WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and SEO.Minimum Requirements:Relevant Degree/Diploma2 or more years' experience in a similar roleProven experience in a Social Media roleFMCG industry expertise with a deep understanding of consumer behavior is advantageous.Design Skills:Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.Social Media Expertise:Communication and Collaboration:Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Creativity and Innovation:Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to bring innovative and fresh design ideas to the table.Portfolio:A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of social media design work and demonstrating the ability to create visually stunning and effective content.If you meet these requirements and are passionate about creating visually captivating social media experiences, we invite you to apply and be a key player in shaping our brand's digital presence.Location:Cape Town, Western CapeLicense:Drivers License and own Transport is advantageousJob Type: Full-timeSalary: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
