ENVIRONMENT:A leading Academic Service Provider seeks a highly talented Social Media Freelancer to fill a 3-Month Contract role. Your will manage all Social Media channels of the business including planning, scheduling, and optimising content where necessary, develop and implement various Paid Social Media campaigns for LinkedIn and Facebook while attending events to do live Social Media updates when required. You will need experience with Social Media management tools, be able to write & edit copy for social media aligned to brand tone and voice, have a solid understanding of Social Media analytics/metrics and have Social Media community management experience. Any prior experience with Meltwater, Multimedia Design & Digital Marketing will prove beneficial.DUTIES:

• Manage the Social Media channels of the business including planning, scheduling and optimising content where necessary.
• Proof all content prior to distribution including but not limited to copy, images, video, etc.
• Attend events to do live social media when required.
• Develop and implement various Paid Social Media campaigns for LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Manage Multimedia Design requirement briefs for social media.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with Social Media management tools.
• Ability to write and edit copy for social media aligned to brand tone and voice.
• Social Media community management experience.
• Must be proficient in understanding Paid Advertising on social media.
• Ability to proof Social Media creative for alignment with brand identity and other requirements.
• Understanding of Social Media analytics/metrics.
• Develop Social Media reports.

Advantageous

• Previous experience with Meltwater.
• Experience developing Digital Marketing campaigns.
• Multimedia Design experience.
• Prior Copywriting/Editing experience.
