Social Media Service Coordinator (centurion)

Job Description


We are looking for an experienced and creative social media coordinator with customer service experience to join our marketing team.In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will answer customer queries and resolve issues via appropriate channels, maintain knowledge of our products and services and obtain customer feedback. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post Matric Qualification
  • 5 years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong Network
  • Promptly responding to customer queries via email, phone, and social media channels.
  • Immediately escalating serious complaints or issues that you are not equipped to deal with
  • Liaising with branch managers to find the best solutions to customers issues
  • Identifying common problems and escalating them to management, along with possible suggestions for improvement, wherever possible
  • Maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times
  • Obtaining and sharing customer feedback with colleagues and other departments so that products and services can be improved
  • Familiarizing yourself with new products and services as they are introduced
  • Attending meetings as required
  • Respecting client confidentiality at all times
