Position Summary

We will be looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team based at our Bryanston office. Reporting directly to the Brand Communications Manager, you will have the scope to be in charge of Nespresso South Africa social media channels and to strengthen brand desirability through strong media/social media plans and execution.

A day in the life of a Nespresso Social Media Specialist

  • Social Listening and Audience Analysis:
  • Analyse online conversations about Nespresso and other coffee brands to gain insights into our audience.
  • Engage with customer comments across all Nespresso social channels.
  • Customer Service and Community Management:
  • Define and manage social media complaint management process with the customer care contact center.
  • Manage queries and complaints within SLA, defining and overseeing the social complaint management process.
  • Cultivate a positive online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions authentically.
  • Implement strategies for user-generated content and brand advocacy.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Report on key social KPIs, including response times, engagement rates, complaints, social listening insights, competitor analysis, impressions, reach, and share of voice.
  • Conduct trend analysis to ensure brand content remains relevant.
  • Content calendar Management:
  • Plan and implement a weekly content calendar, encompassing the posting of stories and reels.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to schedule engaging content.
  • Manage the content approval process, ensuring all organic content is brand-approved through necessary channels.
  • Organic posting of localized content and reposting of Influencers and other brand key stakeholder's content
  • Community Growth and Engagement:
  • Grow social channel follower count.
  • Manage and enhance all owned social channels to drive engagement.
What will make you successful.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Sprinklr tool experience advantageous
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, as well as other social media platforms, trends, and best practices is a strong foundation for success.
  • Understanding of online marketing
  • Strong internal and external communication skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Great time management and organizational skills
