Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Socio Economic Development Officer to join their mining operation in Northern Cape. In this role, you will focus on the implementation of socio-economic development initiatives that contribute to the well-being of local communities while aligning with the company's operational goals.Responsibilities:

• Identify community needs and develop socio-economic development projects in alignment with local and national strategies.
• Conduct research and assessments to measure the impact of development programs.
• Engage and collaborate with community stakeholders, government bodies, and NGOs for effective project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with social responsibility and transformation policies.
• Create reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and resources efficiently to achieve desired objectives.
• Promote community participation in development initiatives to foster ownership and sustainability.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• National Diploma/Degree in Social Science, Development Studies, or related field.
• Certificate in Project Management
• 3 years' experience as a Socio Economic Development Officer within the mining industry.
• Project Management/Project Administration experience.
