Software Developer (Business Consulting Services)Location: Pretoria, GautengPosition status: Permanent and office based.A multi-disciplinary software development and engineering company has an exciting opportunity available for a Software Developer.The firm specialises in Consulting and System Development within various industries such as International Trade and Transit Facilitation, Customs, Transport Regulation, Traffic Law Enforcement, 3rd Party Vehicle Insurance and Supply Chain.Position Overview:Successful candidates will be exposed to a full stack, multi-language (polyglot) development environment. This provides a unique opportunity to either broaden or specialise skillsets, depending on career preferences.To be considered for this position, one must have:

• A completed qualification in Computer Science, Multimedia, or Electrical Engineering from a leading and reputable Tertiary Institution.
• Proficient in languages such as Java, GoLang, JavaScript, Kotlin.
• Exposure to Agile Project Management Techniques such as Scrum.
• Experience with Frameworks such as Java EE, Spring, Android Jetpack.
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery, DevOps and IaC.

Behavioural and Technical Skills/Attributes:

• Follows industry trends and shows an interest in the latest technology.
• Exhibits a strong desire for continuous improvement, mentoring and skills sharing.
• Passion for development including automated software testing and security.
• Understanding of software development best practices.
• Ability to interpret software designs defined in models such as UML or BPMN.
