Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Lead to join our client's team in the retail industry. As a Software Development Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the software development efforts for our retail projects.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, and driving innovation in our retail applications. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.If you have a passion for the retail industry and a strong background in software development leadership, we would love to hear from you!Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to define project requirements and prioritization.
• Architect and design software solutions for retail applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and development methodologies within the team.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, meeting project deadlines and client expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts and resolve technical challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance our retail applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of coding languages, systems, patterns, and methodologies: C#, MS SQL; T-SQL, Web API 2 / Core & Rest web services, .NET Core, ASP.Net, WinForms; UWP, Entity Framework 6+, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, SSRS, MVC, MSSQL Server, HTML 5, JavaScript, GitJIRA, and Agile development methodologies
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
• 6+ years experience as a Software Developer
• Experience designing and developing enterprise grade software.
• Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment

environments * Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum

• Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development

techniques and theories * Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and development practices.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
