A prominent South African firm specializing in defense and security is recruiting for a forward-thinking Software Engineer to work in a hybrid role in Centurion.POSITION INFO:
Software Engineer
Hybrid, CenturionQualifications:

• BEng (Computer Engineering) or BSc equivalent

Requirements:

• 5 years software development experience.
• C/C++ Software Development
• Safety Critical Software Environment
• Experience in military environment - advantageous

Competencies:

• Requirement Analysis and Writing
• Embedded Operation Systems

KPAs:

• Assess system level requirements and convert them into high-level software requirements.
• Create test cases to assess the validity of high-level software requirements.
• Draft or review traditional product documentation.
• Develop software source code at both embedded and application levels.
• Verify and validate software functionality.
• Engage in software integration tasks, including investigating and resolving defects.
• Provide technical leadership for a small SCRUM-based team.
