A prominent South African firm specializing in defense and security is recruiting for a forward-thinking Software Engineer to work in a hybrid role in Centurion.Software Engineer
Hybrid, CenturionQualifications:
- BEng (Computer Engineering) or BSc equivalent
- 5 years software development experience.
- C/C++ Software Development
- Safety Critical Software Environment
- Experience in military environment - advantageous
- Requirement Analysis and Writing
- Embedded Operation Systems
- Assess system level requirements and convert them into high-level software requirements.
- Create test cases to assess the validity of high-level software requirements.
- Draft or review traditional product documentation.
- Develop software source code at both embedded and application levels.
- Verify and validate software functionality.
- Engage in software integration tasks, including investigating and resolving defects.
- Provide technical leadership for a small SCRUM-based team.
