As technology continues to advance, UAV operations are playing an increasingly crucial role in various industries, from surveillance and reconnaissance to data collection and beyond.As a Software Project Administrator at Milkor Integrated Systems you will play a crucial role in overseeing project execution and ensuring alignment with objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coordinating between teams, managing timelines, and facilitating communication to maintain project momentum. Track progress, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality results are delivered. Ultimately, their goal is to support the project manager and development team to ensure deadlines are met.POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Coordinating project activities and tracking progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Handling purchasing and procurement related to project needs, including follow-ups and ensuring deliverables are met. Obtain quotes where necessary (research various options/comparative quotes etc.)
  • Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
  • Manage the scrum process and ensure that tasks are updated and tracked accurately.
  • Manage and organise the project backlog.
  • Keep track and maintain logs of software related items, such as books, hardware, software.
  • Formulate release notes for weekly software releases.
  • Maintain & update Confluence Software release page.
  • Produce and distribute minutes from meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Type of qualification: Administration or project related experience
  • Years of experience required: Minimum 3 years
  • Proficiency in certain applications/computer programmes: MS Office Suite, Project Management software i.e. Sciforma, YouTrack, WBS would be advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of: Administrative processes. Project tracking and reporting. Procurement and purchasing. Documentation and reporting. Able to use project management tools.

  • Time management.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in project coordination or administrative role.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Team orientated.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn
