Job Overview:
The Software Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing. This role involves analyzing requirements, executing test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance software performance. The Software Tester plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall quality of digital solutions used across the organization.Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Analyze software requirements and specifications to understand functionality and expected behaviors.
• Design and execute test cases covering various scenarios, including functional, usability, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and report software defects with detailed information for developers to reproduce and fix issues.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, including test plans, cases, results, and defect reports.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure software meets user requirements and company standards.
• Participate in testing automation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the development process.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving software functionality and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends.

Optimization & Process Enhancement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance testing strategies, efficiency, and automation.
• Analyze software performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize functionality and user experience.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, compliance, and best practices in software testing.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 years in software testing or quality assurance.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools.
• Basic knowledge of software development processes and version control systems.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and reporting mechanisms.
• Relevant qualification in Software Testing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and optimize testing.
