We are looking for a skilled and motivated Solar Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar power systems, ensuring they meet performance, efficiency, and safety standards. • System Design: Develop detailed designs for solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, inverters, and mounting systems. Ensure designs are optimized for efficiency, performance, and cost.
• Site Assessments: Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal solar panel placement and system configurations. Analyze factors such as shading, orientation, and roof structure.
• Technical Analysis: Perform technical calculations and simulations to evaluate system performance and energy yield. Use software tools to model and optimize solar installations.
• Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and installation teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into projects. Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including system schematics, installation manuals, and maintenance guidelines. Create reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical advice. Present design proposals and address any questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Advanced Degrees or Certifications in solar energy are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum years of experience in solar design and engineering, with a proven track record of successful solar projects.
• Skills:

• Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, or AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, electrical design, and energy modeling.
• Familiarity with solar industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and working under tight deadlines.
