Our client in Kimberley is seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Field Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of solar energy systems while maintaining high safety standards.If you are passionate about renewable energy, have a proactive approach, and meet the below requirements, we would love to hear from you!Minimum requirements:

• N2 Electrical or similar qualification (minimum). Installation electrician qualification or higher will be beneficial
• Valid drivers license
• Computer literate with general software knowledge
• Previous experience in solar installation and electrical work is advantageous
• OHS certification and knowledge of OHS standards is desirable

Skills required:

• Safe handling of tools and materials such as ladders, inverters, panel boards, solar panels, batteries, and roofing materials
• Proficiency in roof work and general maintenance tasks
• Ability to work efficiently in extreme weather conditions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assemble and install solar arrays and mounting hardware
• Install and configure solar inverters and backup systems
• Perform electrical wiring for all energy products
• Supervise assistant personnel and manage issued stock
• Maintain safety standards and job site cleanliness effectively
• Perform general electrical wiring and operational tasks as needed
• Interact with clients during installation and assist with setup of applications

Remuneration:R 10 000 - R 15 000 Basic + Performance bonus + Pension FundWork hours and days:Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00IMPORTANT:
