In this role, you would manage, on behalf of the IPP, all the multi-disciplinary engineering aspects of solar projects during the transaction and execution phases of the projects.Duties and Requirements:xc2xb7 BSc Engineering or National Diploma (NDip) Engineering (Civil, Electrical,xc2xb7 or Mechanical)xc2xb7 Registered as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech with ECSA.xc2xb7 Minimum Previous Experience:o 10 years experience in major engineering infrastructure projects, 5 years experience in renewable generation projects, and 3 years experience in solar farm projectsxc2xb7 AutoCADxc2xb7 Managing and coordinating the inputs and support of the IPPs multidisciplinary project engineering team which includes various engineering discipline specialists / leads.xc2xb7 Participate in technical and commercial evaluation and negotiations with EPC Contractors, OEMs and O&M Contractorsxc2xb7 Managing and coordinating the LTAs technical due diligence.xc2xb7 Liaising on behalf of the IPP with Eskom for grid connection self-build works including managing in combination with the EPC Contractor, the Eskom approval processes.xc2xb7 Conduct frequent (minimum monthly, likely bi-weekly) site visits to review contractors performance.xc2xb7 The compilation of RFP / RFQ documents (drawings, specifications, returnable documents) for EPC and O&M Contractors.Should you meet the minimum requirements for this position, please email your updated CV attached to , alternatively contact the team on XXX-XXXX or visit our website,Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
