Job Description

Direct and manage the execution of solar PV and BESS projects from contract signature to project close-out
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, engineers, contractors, and third-party construction managers
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables
Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks
Establish and maintain high-quality customer service with clients and stakeholders
Coordinate and oversee internal teams and external contractors, ensuring effective communication, monitoring progress, and managing project risks
Conduct project meetings and provide weekly progress reports to clients
Present project progress, key findings, and recommendations to management
Perform site evaluations and due diligence, including hiring consultants when necessary
Undertake any other duties as necessary

Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in managing solar PV and BESS projects
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility to travel to project sites across South Africa as required
Minimum 3-5 years experience

Qualification:
BSc/BEng/BTech in Electric and Electrical Engineering
