As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to commercial and Industrial customers.Your primary goal will be to increase solar sales, contribute to sustainable energy initiatives, and drive business growth for our company.SOLAR SALES REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:xc2xb7 Identify and engage with potential customers through various means, including cold calling, referrals, networking, and attending industry events.xc2xb7 Develop and maintain a database of leads and effectively prioritize them for sales outreach.xc2xb7 Educate customers on the advantages of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental benefits, and available incentives.xc2xb7 Explain the solar installation process, system components, and financing options to potential customers.xc2xb7 Visit customers' locations to evaluate their energy needs, roof suitability, and sun exposure to determine the optimal solar system size and design.xc2xb7 Work with design and engineering team to create personalized solar energy proposals based on site assessments and customer preferences.xc2xb7 Present proposals to customers, address their questions and concerns, and negotiate terms to secure contracts.xc2xb7 Assist customers in completing necessary paperwork and contracts for solar system installation, financing, and incentives!xc2xb7 Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and addressing any post-sale inquiries or concerns.SOLAR SALES REPRESENTATIVE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:xc2xb7 Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.xc2xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence potential customers.xc2xb7 Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, renewable energy, or a related industry.xc2xb7 Familiarity with solar energy products, systems, and industry trends.xc2xb7 Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and meet sales targets.xc2xb7 Ability to understand technical aspects of solar energy systems and convey this knowledge in a clear and accessible manner to customers.xc2xb7 Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.xc2xb7 Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules and achieve sales goals.xc2xb7 Willingness to travel within and outside South Africa to pursue sales targets.
