As a Solar Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our solar business. You will be responsible for engaging with potential customers, understanding their energy needs, and presenting them with tailored solar solutions. Your goal will be to educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, guide them through the decision-making process, and ultimately close sales.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, referrals, networking events, and online platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers to assess their energy consumption, financial goals, and suitability for solar installations.
  • Deliver compelling and informative presentations that showcase the benefits of our solar products and services.
  • Prepare accurate and customized solar proposals, including cost estimates, financing options, and potential energy savings.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure accurate system design and feasibility.
  • Navigate the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, addressing customer inquiries and concerns along the way.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, solar technology advancements, and incentives to effectively communicate value to customers.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
  • Knowledge of solar technology, energy markets, and incentive programs (preferred).
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
