Sizwe Africa IT Group has a vacancy for a Solutions Architect, based at our Samrand Gauteng offices. The purpose of the positon is to Provide technical expertise in gathering and analyzing customer requirements, recommending fit-for-purpose solutions, and assisting Sales, Service Delivery, OEM and Partnerships, and other Presales consultants with the development of customer proposals, quotations, and presentations.Providing technical pre-sales guidance to various entities to promote and sell business solutions to support customers with their existing business challenges surrounding Cyber Security and Enterprise Networking. As a Solutions Architect you will be required to respond to proposals for enterprise customers, meeting basic requirements and identifying & proposing transformation solutions.Accountable for technical validation of solutions proposed to Sizwe current and proposed customers, including liaising with Sizwe Sales, Service Delivery, and OEMs and Partnership teams.Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in Enterprise Networking, preferably customer facing, including solution architecture design and implementation experience with Huawei, Cisco, Aruba, H3C, Meraki, Juniper and Extreme Networks platforms. Enterprise Firewall experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Sophos, Fortinet, Juniper, and Huawei. Experience in Cyber Security technologies like PAM, IAM, CASB (Netskope), NAC, EDR, SIEM/SOC, SASE, WAF, ZTNA, MFA, DDoS, DLP, Mimecast, Sentinel One, N-Able, etc required.Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualificationBSC Computer Science or equivalent NQF Level, TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT certification advantageous. Candidate requires all or some of the following industry certifications Cisco CCDP, Cisco CCNP and Huawei HSCP-IP. Candidate also requires some or all of the following industry certifications, Fortinet NSE 4/5, ISC Certified, Cisco Cyber Security Certified, CompTIA Security+.Relevant Technical pre-sales certifications in security solutions (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco/ Microsoft / Sophos/ Netskope/Checkpoint ) highly advantageous.4. KEY TASKSBID MANAGEMENT:xc2xb7 Attend Tender Briefing sessions to ensure that required solution is clearly understood;xc2xb7 Manage all resources involved in the Tender response process PreSales, Service Delivery, Sales and OEM/Technology partners to ensure Tender deadlines are met and adhered to;xc2xb7 Perform ad hoc site visits to ensure that team members are fully operational and ensure quality;xc2xb7 Manage design and implementation specialists, project managers and technicians in the ICT department to ensure that deadlines are met;SOLUTION DESIGNxc2xb7 Ensure that short-, medium- and long-term operational strategies are implemented in line with the growth objectives and profitability of the business;xc2xb7 Pro-actively manage all risks in the environment and ensure appropriate and timeous escalation of risks and issues take place;xc2xb7 Utilize technology and innovation methodologies to deliver more effectively and efficiently;xc2xb7 Internal management reporting on all current activities and future planned activities;xc2xb7 Maintain and manage all operational efficiencies to provide and ensure a high degree of organizational effectiveness;xc2xb7 Ensuring the refinement, measurement, execution and effectiveness of internal processes with a focus on quality assurance;xc2xb7 Performing quality checks on projects and task delivery and implement necessary changes if needed;xc2xb7 Foster a positive, open, success-orientated and accountable environment;xc2xb7 Ensure that a constant update on operation deliverables is given at timely intervals;xc2xb7 Coordination of technical resources and improvement initiatives;xc2xb7 Internal coordination of central support functions (Installations, Professional Services, Consulting, Support);xc2xb7 Responsible for self-development by keeping abreast of new developments within the industry related to area of responsibility and product knowledge;xc2xb7 Constant evaluation of customer business processes in order to propose, re-engineer and provide value added services;xc2xb7 Ensure high standard of service delivery through customer relationships;xc2xb7 Communication and liaison with customer with regard to progress and goals;xc2xb7 Manage expectations and high-level relationships with clients during implementations;xc2xb7 Manage sub-contractors;xc2xb7 Prepare monthly operational reports;xc2xb7 Ensure customer are satisfied with services rendered by pro-active management of customer expectations;xc2xb7 Any ad hoc function required to perform from management from time to time.
