Senior Solutions Architect (SoA) South Africa Boston Scientific (BSC)

The role will be part of the Healthcare Solutions and Partnerships (HS&P) Growth Emerging Markets (GEM) South organization.

The SoA will work with the BSC South African teams and provide Solutions expertise and support in discussions with clients. The SoA will be involved in discussions with divisional business teams and customers in designing commercial solution value propositions aiming at addressing customer needs while securing a multi-year partnership.

The SoA will lead commercial and technical efforts to design, pitch, and sign new solutions and partnerships deals and will provide high-level support on the implementation of the agreed upon HS&P solution programs, intended to improve productivity, increase customer program volume, and enhance financial sustainability.

BSC Healthcare Solutions and Partnerships Portfolio:

• Cross-divisional commercial agreements
• High-level strategic partnership agreements with private hospital groups
• Therapy Advisory Solutions - Specific BSC programs combining BSC product innovation, advisory, and digital enablers.
• Performance Optimization - advisory programs applied to hospital workflows.
• Capital Financing - offsetting capex investment via consumable business.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Divisional business teams to unearth and prioritize customer needs.
• Work closely with the Strategic Account Manager to support solution pitch and partnership building as well as contract execution for strategic accounts
• Build a tailored value proposition to address customer needs allowing BSC to gain long-term sustainable share.
• Proactively manage end-to-end internal business case approval (Business Units, Legal, QARA).
• Responsible for drafting and closing commercial agreements in partnership with local commercial teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Solutions Delivery Team to define, plan, and execute the implementation of commercial solution projects.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, internally and externally, to ensure the project proceeds according to plan.
• Deploy adjustments to the plan as needed to realign with the project's goals & objectives, ensuring that the result meets the expectations of the Customer and Boston Scientific.
• Track and report on key metrics to upper management, aligned with overall goals & objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
• Excellent project/process management/ analytical skills
• Experience in consulting
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Understanding of Digital Health applications
• Track record of developing successful plans and delivering positive performance
• Demonstrates strong industry knowledge and commercial mindset
• Working in multifunctional cross-cultural teams
• Must be able to travel regularly within the country
