SUMMARY:We are looking for a seasoned Solutions Executive who will support the organisations Strategic Sales function by facilitating, directing, controlling and coordinating the development of comprehensive ICT solution sets for Multi Business Unit and Complex RFP responses. Create supporting Commercial models and compliance structures...POSITION INFO:We are looking for a seasoned Solutions Executive who will support the organisations Strategic Sales function by facilitating, directing, controlling and coordinating the development of comprehensive ICT solution sets for Multi Business Unit and Complex RFP responses. Create supporting Commercial models and compliance structures to support the Bid response and engage with customers, as required, to articulate the solution and commercial models as part of the sales cycle. Provide assistance to drive the commercial contracting engagement with the customer to ensure the solution elements are correctly interpreted and articulated in the final contract.What youll do:

  • Provide technical and commercial sales support and facilitate customer interaction/workshops to unpack customer business and IT requirements
  • Development of solution concepts and value propositions in support of customer requirements
  • Co-ordination of identified architecture teams to construct solution models in support of complex or high value sales
  • Development of commercial models in support of the proposed solution offerings
  • Assist Business Units with the design of organisational and operational structures in support of new solutions designs
  • Assist in the development and quality assurance of the proposal material
  • Identify commercial and delivery risks associated with proposed solution sets and bring these to the attention of the Bid Review Teams and Business Unit representatives
  • Participate in Contract Negotiations for solutions managed by the Solutioning Team to ensure solution design and proposed commercial models are catered for New Business Development: Identify opportunities to sell EOH Group solution sets into new or existing customer environment to generate additional Annual and Annuity Revenue
  • Provide guidance with respect to Public Sector Tendering requirements and assist Public Sector Sales initiatives to be successful.
  • Profitability: Ensure new business proposals are profitable to the organisation
  • Understand the EOH Groups solution sets and work with the relevant business units to leverage these in support of customer requirements
Your expertise:
  • 10+ years relevant experience in IT operations and management, technical solution development and service architecture. Benefit will be ITIL, COBIT, Design Architecture (TOGAF) or similar Service Design or Service Management experience.
  • Experience with managing/developing services or project contracts (from a technical and commercial perspective).
  • Relevant experience in developing complex ICT solutions to meet customer business requirements. Financial costing experience and understanding of cost modelling.
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction to a team of senior solution architects and business development practitioners. Ability to interface with senior customer representatives in identifying requirements and articulating solution sets.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, SharePoint etc). Specific requirement for Excel skills to do Commercial Modelling.
  • A benefit would be any experience in engaging with the Public Sector in terms of business development.
Qualifications:
  • Matric (technical and ICT services experience in the industry is of more importance).
  • Any formal course in IT Architecture, Service Architecture, Technical Sales.
  • ICT Technical Courses which may include Service Operations Courses such as ITIL or specific technology sets such as Microsoft certifications.
