Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions, with a strong focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
• Oversee the integration of WMS with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, CRM) to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance on project management, system configurations, and technical challenges.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
• Ensure the timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantages.
• Africa experience will be an advantage

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT management roles, with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing WMS (e.g., Manhattan)
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Experience in integrating WMS with ERP and other enterprise systems.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
