Position Title: Sorting TechnicianPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: DelmasRequisition ID: 32774SORTING TECHNICIAN-C3Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Sorting Technician reporting to the Sorting Superintendent. The positions will be based in our operation in Delmas-Mpumalanga.PURPOSE OF THE JOB:To ensure peak performance of Sorting equipment in order to deliver good quality product at low cost.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver quality products

Number of final products is blocked /restricted due to number of defects out of specification

• Equipment availability

Ensure availability of sorting equipment to produce good products.

• Cost Management

Ensure cost effective maintenance of equipment through continuous improvement and maximised localisation of spares.Assist stores Supervisor with ensuring availability of correct spares

• Safe execution of Maintenance work. Safe operation of equipment

Do regular safety auditsImmediately fix safety deviationsParticipate in all safety related activitiesPractice LOTO at all timesComply with all safety requirements

• Equipment Reliability improvement

Execute route inspections and report deviationsImplement Prometheus

• Good housekeeping at all times
