:THE JOB AT A GLANCE:You will provide overall support to the category team whilst growing your procurement experience and technical skills for a future career in sourcing. You will support the team in administering RFX processes and system contracts, administering supply queries from sites and maintaining key category data (approved vendor listing, contracts, BEE data etc). You gain a detailed understanding of the characteristics of your respective commodity and understanding Tiger Brands' business needs to be able to identify new procurement value opportunities in line with the Commodity StrategyResponsibilities:WHAT YOU WILL DO:Key Attributes and CompetenciesConduct selected Tiger Brands RFQ's on Zycus under guidance from Category Manager.Engage in Supplier discussions for contracts and NDAs with the support of the Commodity ManagerEngage in budget setting with the support of the Commodity ManagerExposure to other functions / categories within Procurement e.g. Finance, Directs, IndirectLoading quarterly pricing in the system (quarterly pricing) ensure that site is aware, and systems reflect correctagreed prices.Ensure Data accuracy on Oracle.Deal with pricing queries and resolve PPV's.Resolve accounts payable queries.Spend data analysisWork within Procurement policies and proceduresProvide ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks for Sourcing ManagerBBBEE (and EPR where applicable) certificate and reporting maintenanceMSA, CI and NDA tracking and collating specificationsSupplier Audit co-ordination with QualityComplete commodity ZBM's (manual and Oracle) and update system contracts / quotationsMaintain key category data within Procurement databases (specifications, MOQ's, lead times, cover positions, etc.)and category register key data on savings and contractsOwn the vendor listing for the commodity by maintaining the vendor portal key data: MRP supplier data, AVL(supplier classification, BEE status, contract status, supplier certifications and material pricing dataMaintain and resolve system pricing queries from sites including pricing of new itemsQualifications:ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:KEY PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:Core knowledge - Operational procurement, Procurement systems, Cost management & ZBBKey foundational competencies - Academic - Analytical skill, Problem solving, Applied science and technologyLeadership - Owning it, driving long-term results, Staying a step-aheadPersonal Effectiveness - Effective communication, Interpersonal skills, Integrity, Creativity, Continuous learning,Experience1+ years' experience procurementAbout Us:Tiger Brands is proudly Africa's largest listed manufacturers of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
